¶ Mapping Local Drive to VPS
- Right click a Remote Desktop Connection that you’re trying to map a local drive with and select Edit.
- Click Show Options.
- Select the Local Resources or Local Devices and Resources tab and click More…
- In the drive overview, select the drives you need for your remote session.

Click on OK.

Navigate to the General tab, and click Save or Save As.

Click Connect to connect to the server.

The shared drive will appear on the navigation panel in the remote desktop session or will be accessible through a file explorer window, navigating to \\tsclient

- This will share the entire drive selected to the remote desktop session. Make sure if you are saving files to the shared local drive, you are not saving it to the Root Directory. Instead, put it in a folder, such as “C:\Excel Backups\Spreadsheet.xls”.
